Watch Promo
Have you ever wanted to understand the foundations of traditional Chinese medicine using modern scientific research? Have you ever decided to start a Qigong practice, but didn't know where to begin? Do you want to experience an authentic Qigong lineage, backed by modern science?
In this course's theory section, you learn modern science behind how our bodies create and circulate energy. You learn how our three Dan Tian - 丹田 (elixir fields) generate and store energy. You also learn the contemporary anatomy that validated the presence of the acupuncture channel system. You learn how modern research explains the ancient concept of Jing - 精 (Essence), Qi -氣 (Energy), and Shen - 神 (Spirit). You also learn the fascinating science behind the Qigong mindstate of Ru Jing - 入靜 (Entering Stillness), and how modern science has proven the link behind how our minds connect to the environment.
"This is an excellent course — definitely worth taking! It really helped me deepen my understanding of energy work. It's great to have research backing up the SCIENCE behind what we are doing when we practice."

"I decided to start practicing Qigong during the Covid quarantine of 2020. I wanted something that would improve my focus during such a stressful time. The great thing about this course is that it actually explains what is happening when you practice Qigong! This is an excellent course, there is A LOT of information here. You will find yourself learning more each time you review the material."

What brought me to teach this course.
I have trained in and taught Martial Arts and Qigong for 29 years. I started learning the art of Qigong through my martial art teacher when I was 12. When I was 17, I had a doctor make a mistake during surgery that caused me to have a massive hemorrhage. I ended up in a coma for three days, and when I woke up I was paralyzed, I couldn't speak, and I couldn't read.
The doctors kept asking how I survived. I had been training my body and mind to endure hardship about 4 or 5 years at that point. I knew I survived an event that should have killed me because I had trained myself to be strong from both the inside and the outside. I did not receive any rehabilitation from the medical system. I healed myself after I left the hospital. I was still confined to a bed when I got back to the house where I grew up, but I had no plans of staying that way.
Over the years ahead, I used herbal medicine, nourishing foods, Kung Fu, and Qigong meditation to make myself whole again. It didn't happen overnight, it took a long time, but it did happen. I went from unable to read, to working as a peer-reviewer at an Oxford University medical journal in 9 years. I healed myself and made a full recovery. Now, I want to pass that knowledge over to you, to help keep you strong and healthy.
As you can see in my biography below, I have an extensive scientific background. However, what drives me to teach what I know is a deep awareness of how practical this way of life is for people. I look forward to helping you on your journey to happiness, health, and peace of mind.
All the best,
David
